San Siro
Home of AC Milan and Inter Milan in Milan: nominal capacity 75,817, opened 1926, in the San Siro district.
Milan has one enormous ground shared by two clubs. San Siro hosts both AC Milan and Inter, which means a weekend here can mean two entirely different crowds in the same stadium.
San Siro is the ideal two-match ground: if Milan and Inter both play at home on the same weekend, you can see the same stadium twice with two different atmospheres. Check the fixture list early — the two clubs rarely play at home on the same day.
Whichever ground you choose, the pattern of the day is the same: travel in with the crowd, arrive at the turnstiles about an hour before kick-off, and leave the return journey until the first surge has cleared. In Milan that advice matters most at the nearest station to the ground, where the queue builds within minutes of the final whistle.
